I decided to completely change how I lived my life. A proper sleep routine. A cleaner approach to eating. Regular exercise. Reduced stress. As they became part of my daily habits my health improved as my dress sizes dropped – I’m now 3 stone (20kg) lighter and four sizes smaller than I was then. I’m as fit as I’ve ever been. I’m infinitely happier. I doubt my former self would recognise me.

The gym-averse health expert?
Friends often asked me how I’d done it. One suggested I should help many more people by becoming a health expert. “That’s the last thing I’d ever do,” I said, “I hate fitness!”
“That’s why you’d inspire them,” she said.
That’s where Zest came from. Unlike other ‘health experts’ I did the hard yards in terms of building my knowledge as well as my fitness.

Also unlike other health experts, I’m still gym averse but I’ve found so many other ways to get fit that it doesn’t matter. I think that’s why so many people feel in safe hands with my approach.
