Hulya Erdal
I help you let go of old habits, negative thinking and conditioning from others. Together, we’ll change the way you think to change the life you lead.
How would you describe the difference you make to your clients?
It’s all about self-discovery. Everything starts from within. I help my clients realise that they have all that they need inside them, and through guidance and support, they realise all that is possible. I help them let go of old habits, negative thinking and conditioning from others to create a new narrative around positivity so they can live more fulfilled, more intentional lives.
Together, we’ll change the way you think to change the life you lead.
Ho do you make that difference?
I bring compassion, kindness, empathy and integrity to my work. These are my key values. Through my own lived experiences I understand the pressures of life, work and other commitments and how that can cause you to lose yourself. All that I teach is all that I have done for myself.
What’s your background?
I’ve been through some profound life-changing experiences including divorce, domestic abuse, lack of self-awareness and belief, and a career crisis to name but a few! As a former marketer, professional chef and teacher, and as an entrepreneur, I have a deep understanding of the challenges people face in business, and in the education and hospitality sectors in particular.
I am a BBC Radio London contributor and my work has led me to numerous TV appearances. I am a certified CPD mental health ambassador for the hospitality sector and I have certifications in transformative coaching, REBT practice and mindfulness. I am studying for a Doctorate in Metaphysics with the University of Sedona in the USA.
What’s the most rewarding part of what you do with Zest?
I love collaboration. Zest is very much in alignment with my own ethos on life and Rachel is very easy to speak to and get on with. I value her expertise and support – and she walks her talk!
Tell us something surprising about yourself.
I have hosted podcasts, written lots about food, cooking and wellbeing, and have a YouTube channel for my cooking. I still teach cooking and appear on Robert Elms’ radio show.
I can’t ride a bike, or swim (someone teach me, please!) and I do not like the cold. I dream of living in the Mediterranean, by the sea. I am lucky to live by the sea in Folkestone but I’m slowly edging my way across the channel to France.
